Harnessing the Potential of the Subconscious Mind
A lady once asked
Thomas Edison, “Mr. Edison, what is electricity?”
He replied,
“Madam, electricity is. Use it.”
That simple
answer carries great wisdom. Let scientists unravel mysteries; our task is to
apply the power.
The same holds
true for the subconscious mind—it is not essential to understand every
mechanism. What matters is how we harness it in daily life, how we employ it to
engineer dreams and bring them to fruition.
In my writings—My
Perspective of Prayer and the conceptual paper Decision Making with
Intuition Integrated with Prayer—I have emphasised application over
complexity.
The subconscious
mind is not merely a hidden reservoir of thoughts; it is the silent architect
of destiny. It shapes the unseen scaffolding upon which dreams rise and unfold.
Books such as The
Power of Your Subconscious Mind have touched millions, offering living
testimony to how invisible forces guide the realization of aspirations. For
over three decades, I have returned to this book, each reading revealing new
dimensions of its truth. In my own life, some dreams have blossomed exactly as
envisioned, others in unexpected forms, and still others await their season.
Even in my sixties, I continue to nurture and refine dreams, guided by this
inner power that never grows old.
Prayer,
intuition, and insight are not abstractions; they are practical instruments.
Prayer, when
harmonized with the subconscious, becomes a force that activates dreams.
Intuition, when
woven with prayer, illuminates decisions with clarity beyond logic.
To the ordinary
mind, these may appear complex, yet their essence lies in practice, not theory.
The subconscious
mind is a servant of belief, visualization, and prayer.
It does not
argue; it accepts.
What we sow in
it, it works tirelessly to manifest.
Simple Steps to Tap the Potential of the Subconscious Mind:
- Be Transparent – Honesty with oneself opens inner
channels.
- Be Receptive – Keep the mind open to signals,
insights, and guidance.
- Believe Deeply – Faith is the bridge between
vision and realisation.
- Visualise Positively – See the dream vividly, as if
already achieved.
- Cultivate Quality Sleep – Rest allows the subconscious to
work unhindered.
- Feed Positive Thoughts Before Sleep – The last thought at night seeds
tomorrow’s reality.
- Protect Against Negativity – Guard the mind from destructive
influences.
- Offer Prayers – Align your inner self with higher
harmony.
Dreams are
engineered not only by conscious effort but by the silent labour of the
subconscious.
To envision,
nurture, and refine a dream is to collaborate with this inner architect.
