 My Next Book: Horizon Beyond Certainty

The journey of a book often begins not at the desk, but in the quiet stirrings of the mind. Yesterday, I wrote a blog titled Types of Thinking and Lens of Possibility. Yet, while walking along the track today, a new idea flashed across my consciousness with such clarity and vigor that it reshaped my course. The phrase Horizon Beyond Certainty revealed itself as the true compass of my next book, and with it, the title of my blog found its natural transformation- My Next Book: Horizon Beyond Certainty.

This inspiration did not arise in isolation. My thinking has long been influenced by works such as Norman Vincent Peale’s The Power of Positive Thinking, Robert Schuller’s Tough Times Never Last, But Tough People Do, and Paramahansa Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi. Each of these texts has left a profound imprint on my outlook, affirming the transformative power of thought and resilience. Their echoes will certainly be heard in my writing, though refracted through my own lived experience and philosophical inquiry.

I am aware that literature already exists on possibility thinking. Yet, I have deliberately chosen not to explore those works at this stage. My intent is to preserve the originality of my perspective, to avoid the subtle bias that can arise when one’s voice is overshadowed by another’s. Once the first draft of my manuscript is complete, I may turn to those writings—not as guides, but as companions in dialogue, enriching the conversation without diluting my vision.

The genesis of this book is itself a testament to possibility thinking. It is not merely an intellectual exercise, but a lived experience—an openness to horizons beyond certainty, a willingness to embrace the unknown with courage and conviction. This blog marks the first step in that journey, a prelude to the manuscript that is yet to unfold.
