A Treasure of Cherished Moments
On February 14, 2026, I had the privilege of attending the Alumni Meet at Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai. Among the many memorable experiences, the most cherished was meeting Prof. J. V. N. Rao and Mrs. Rao. Prof. Rao, who once taught me Design of Structures and later served as Principal of SPCE, received me with warmth, enquired with genuine interest about my journey, and offered his blessings—a timeless reminder of the enduring bond between teacher and student.
The evening was graced by the presentation of Life Time Achievement Awards and Mid-Life Achievement Awards to distinguished alumni. Witnessing the felicitation of those who have made remarkable contributions in their fields filled me with pride and inspiration.
SPCE has played a pivotal role in shaping my life and career. As a humble token of love and respect, I presented my newly published book, Value-Based Leadership, to Dr. M. M. Murudi, under whose dynamic leadership the institute has flourished. The gesture was more than symbolic—it was a heartfelt offering of gratitude to the institution that nurtured me.
The Alumni Meet was not merely an event; it was a celebration of gratitude, reflection, and reaffirmation of the values that continue to guide my journey. My sincere thanks to Dr. Sudhakar Umale for sharing those beautiful glimpses of the gathering.
I too treasured the experience—engaging with serene souls and aspiring young dreamers.
