Engineering Heart Beats Reach Young Hearts !

Engineering Heart Beats Reach Young Hearts !

Today was a day of quiet pride and deep satisfaction. I was invited by the enthusiastic team at Dexcel Digital Hub Pvt. Ltd., where a group of young IT engineers had come together to felicitate me for my Marathi book ‘Abhiyantriki Spandane’. Many of them had purchased the book online, read it with keen interest, and found it not just inspiring, but guiding. Their discussions around the book led to a heartfelt request: They wished to meet me in person, receive my autograph, and seek guidance on shaping their careers.

Their gesture touched me deeply. In a world often driven by metrics and packages, here was a group of young professionals seeking meaning, values, and direction.

The event was beautifully organised. Present were: Mr. Dattatray Waghmode, Director, Mr. Shivraj Shendge, HR, Mr. Dipak Gaikwad, Mrs. Mayuri Patil Kharche and several other bright minds who had taken time out of their demanding schedules to honour a writer!

They offered me a bouquet, a thoughtful gift of Ferrero Rocher, and a Certificate of Appreciation that read: “Your book has inspired us and contributed positively to the betterment of social life.”

I signed their copies with messages of best wishes, and we shared a joyful photo session. But more than the ceremony, it was the sincerity in their eyes and the warmth in their words that stayed with me.

My brief address to them:

Dear Friends,

It’s a joy to share with you today, not just as an author, but as a fellow traveler in the journey of engineering, learning, and life. Your appreciation for ‘Abhiyantriki Spandane’ has touched me deeply. But more than the felicitation, it is your sincerity, curiosity, and respect that have truly moved me.

Let me share a few thoughts that I believe are worth carrying into your careers and lives.

In today’s fast-paced world, many chase packages, perks, and promotions. But I urge you to pause and ask: What truly brings fulfilment?

Dear Friends,

Work hard. Enjoy the work. Joy in work elevates your self-image, and with it, your esteem in the eyes of your family and society.  Sincerity and Hard Work are timeless virtues. They may not trend on social media, but they build legacies!

Teamwork, Transparency, and Shared Challenges create cultures that thrive, not just survive!

Organisational Commitment is not a transaction, it’s a relationship! It gives you deep satisfaction.

And here’s something I’ve learned over the years:

When you are innovative and creative, you will find yourself energetic.

Creativity isn’t just a skill, it’s a source of vitality. It keeps your spirit awake, your mind curious, and your work meaningful.

Now I share with you something close to my heart:

Life is simple. We make it complex.

We clutter it with comparisons, chase illusions, and forget the essence. But the truth is:

Love, Gratitude, Compassion, and Kindness are the eternal values. They don’t just decorate life; they define it! They act as a compass that leads us to fulfilment. In your careers, relationships, and reflections, let them guide you!

Let me quote here a few lines from the poem by Nobel Laureate Pablo Neruda:

“You start dying slowly
if you do not travel,
if you do not read,
if you do not listen to the sounds of life,
if you do not appreciate yourself.”

This is not just poetry, it’s a wake-up call.
Don’t let your spirit fade in routine.
Stay curious. Stay kind. Stay alive.

You are not just engineers, you are creators of culture, carriers of values, and contributors to society. Let your work reflect not just skill, but soul!

Thank you for honouring me today. May your journey be rich, not just in success, but in meaning!
